Subject: MY A RACE, DOWN THE DRAIN!
Well shit. Half-ironman Utah is canceled for 2004. That was going to be my target race this year! NOW WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? I liked Utah because it is close to where I live (Santa Fe, New Mexico), it’s a half iron man (not a whole one…not ready for the whole one yet), and it was a Kona qualifier. Is anyone here from the southwest? Know any good races? I’m open to any suggestion at this point; I gotta rethink my whole season!
Or maybe I should just chill out, take a few deep breaths, eat a snickers and watch some TV...

Try the Buffalo Springs Half Ironman in Lubbock, Texas. It is a half and a Kona Qualifier.
