40 years old and training for my first Triathlon. Started training 5 months ago just with swimming. Lost 40 lbs so far. Now biking and jogging. I'm hooked! Nice to meet you all!

Where in Kansas are you? I'll be driving through next August, and probably stopping in Wichita or KC for the evening. If you have any suggested run routes in those places, I'd be quite interested to hear them.

Welcome to the insanity, I mean triathlon world

A few of us from Kansas on this site. In the Kansas state forum we usually put up a race list for the upcoming year. One of my favorites is the Shawnee Mission Tri.
