The frame is not likely to be a problem, although it will likely produce more wear and tear over time and possibly fail (very unlikely to be 'catastrophic') sooner than otherwise. Especially if you ride it hard a lot, sprint a lot, or ride over particularly rough terrain. The wheels are a more important thing to watch. Get wheels made for your weight. They are much more likely to go than the frame, and popping a spoke or two (or worse) is not fun. |
