Regular  66 |  Subject: New triathlon in RaleighI just saw this yesterday. There's a new company starting up to put on triathlons, which seems like a good thing, since the local ones fill up so fast. The first one they put on will be a sprint in Wakefield (North Raleigh). Here's the link: http://fsseries.com/triathalons_banks_kerr.html I can't do it because I've got a marathon two weeks later, but I hope it becomes a yearly event, since it's less than a mile from my home. |

Distance 200 yard Swim / 12.00 Mile Bike / 3.1 Mile Run Distances are approximate and subject to change Don't the courses have to be certified or something? Maybe this one is pending? It also sounds like they're requiring relay teams to be three members rather than two or three. Other than that, it looks pretty standard. I won't do it this year as it's smack in between Azalea and White Lake ... but I'll keep it in mind. |
