Subject: Training program for Ipaq or Palm?
Does anyone know of any training programs/logs designed for the Ipaq or Palm? I think this would be handy to carry during workouts.

Dont know of any specifically designed, but could you create a few pages of a .pdf document or Excel spreadsheet that can easily be viewed, and edited in the case of a spreadsheet? I think I'd be a little nervous about taking mine to the gym though.....

I was thinking of it more as a reference tool (ie. workout regimen, stats, etc.). I always find it unusual that most people are more comfortable leaving their wallet and/or keys by equipment then they are their PDAs. I have heard this from my friends as well...curious.

Can you download some info from Avantgo etc when you're online and then view it when you need to etc? I also did a Google search for pocket pc software and found several sites that had long lists of fitness/sport/training software available - might be worth a look depending exactly on what you're after.

Subject: Pocket PC Phone Edition
Is what I am using. T-mobile and AT&T Wireless have them for great discounts vs. a pocket PC. I just heard AT&T has them for $50. T Mobile has better plans but the unit is somewhere over $200. I just started using this program with my POLAR S720i (I think S710 works also) http://www.mysporttraining.com/mst_polar.htm#requirements
I can track all my workouts and incorporate results from my POLAR HRM. It graphically displays my heart rate for running, speed cadence etc for the duration of each exercise. It tells me everything! You need to either upgrade phone if you have Tmob or AT&T or sign up to thier service. You can now port your number among different carriers if you want/need to change. Now I have a Phone/ Scheduler/ Web surfing, E-mail recieving (work) and now excercise tracking device that slips into my pocket.
