Morning!  Well wife's work schedule changed for the day, so I'll have to adapt.  So, it looks like I'm only going to be able to swim.  Eventhough I really wanted to ride again today, my legs are a little tired.

Looking at the spreadsheet, I'm one bike ride and two swims from 100 percent!  It's all gravy from there!

I know it goes against conventional wisdom but I don't think endurance products fit the bill for 28+ hours straight on a bike.  The body needs solids at some point!  At least mine does

God thats funny.  Your lucky if you can get away with it!

I totally agree about substituting solids.  I just know there is no way in hell I could eat that stuff and not vomit.  My limit is around 300-350 calories per hour, beyond that I bloat and food starts to sit in my stomach causing GI distress.  If I'm supplementing my main fuel, I usually have to stick to lean protein, dried fruit, nuts, etc.

Forgot to mention yesterday, that I already spent my REI dividend.  I got a new JetBoil and bike shorts for $5 dollars after my dividend and 20 percent off coupon!  Man, I could spend hours and a lot of money in that store.

I looked but could not find a rear stuff sack that I liked so I got it elsewhere.

I will probably buy something I don't need with it

When does the coupon expire again??

Not sure about the expiration.  I haven't even received mine yet.  Was at the store and just asked to use it.

Are you going to use a hydration system then?  I would think 100 ounce bladder and two bottles would easily get you through the night.  That would allow for roughly 20-24 ounces/hour.

What about storage for the food too?  You using something like the gas tank bag from epic designs?
