I know that there is a thread already under LA, but for all you that don't visit the Louisiana Page, a group of us are heading that way for the Mardi Gras half and full marathon.

Consider this an open call to all who would like to come run or cheer. To the best of my knowledge, there will be no FOUL play, but I imagine there will be plenty of crazy hijinks and shenanigans.

Consider this a rematch of ME against Welshy and Fleeby. I will NOT be tripped again by flag boy, I might be in costume though.

I already smote you in the Wurst 5 miler, as well as the White Rock Half Marathon. And Aaron clearly beat you in the Disney.... I know you are bad and need to be punished, but how much smiting can one poor girl take?!?!?!?!?

I hear the men in Louisiana are Big and Easy.

Isn't that why they call it the Big Easy?

No. He's married. I would never ask a saucy question of a married man, especially Married Hey-Bear who would then ask if I plan to rent a car.

Haley, he hasn't stirred me up. It was more like me wondering if he's had too much Coca-Cola, gummie and pixie sticks today.

Step away from the sugar.

I don't think you're stirred, but I can see he's trying to.

LOL...sugar. Funny stuff. Just as long as its not peanut butter.

I have a bet with Haley - no pb for me, no queso for her. I aim to win. Maybe that is what has me feeling plucky (did I say plucky?) - animal crackers is no substitute for my beloved peanut butter.... *sigh*

Thanks, Haley. I'm still celebrating this week - lunch with Ma tomorrow, dinner with Sue on Friday.

It should be a national holiday but then I'd have to give speeches and I don't like so much attention.

Of course it should--goes without saying, really. And why is it that Sue didn't come play with us at Jess's house, again?  Wench.
