Subject: new Haven Rd Race 20k

It is on labor day, just curious who else is going to run this..I am really looking forward to it I just hope I recover for the Madison Tri 5 days later..lol 

There will also be a 5k for those that dont want to do the 20k......there is usually about 10,000 people.

I did this race last year and was not pleased (to say the least).  I was running a 9:30 min mile, and starting around mile 3, the aid stations were out (some had water, some had absolutely nothing).  Extremely poor planning on their part.  I would have been happy to run with provisions, if they had not promised to be a fully supported race.

Yes - both start at the New Haven Green.  Get there early.  Parking is a disaster.

All Yale lots are open on weekends/holidays - I recommend parking in one.  I used the parking lot next to the Lawn Club and walked (less than 10 minutes) - there is also a huge one next to the Natural History museum.
