Subject: RE: Cycling recovery for running?I do my long run on Saturday, and my long bike on Sunday. I find that the latter does help with recovery, though my real recovery day is Monday -- I don't run on that day. (Back in the days when I ran 100mpw I'm sure I could easily run on that Monday to complete the recovery, but not these days -- I'm older and recovering from surgery.) But I feel that the long ride on Sunday actually helps with overall recovery. This could be total misperception on my part... |
