I thought I had seen that the Fit City Tri was going to be August 1st this year, but when I went to racesonline to sign up, I could not find it.  Anybody know what is going on?

I heard a rumor it was cancelled and pretty sure of that now that the Sharp Hooter Tri is Aug 15 at Herb Parsons...

Yeah, I was registered for Fit City this year, but they "postponed" it until August 7 2010. Supposed to be getting my money back... should probably e-mail them again.

Also, hey everyone, been a while!

I saw the sharpshooter tri and thought it was a little funny to have another tri at the same location two weeks later.  With Fit City cancelled it makes a little more sense.

The sharshooter looks like a good race - I like the 23 mile bike (especially since I ride part of that route every weekend), but I'm not sure about the 4 mile trail runs.  I'm not a big fan of trail runs.

Ive never ran the trails at herb parson be I have biked their many times and they seem like a great place to run- wide and smooth- If I can change that day with someone at work  I am for sure doing that race looks to be a lot of fun and start to finnish does a great race.

I did the run as part of a relay last year, and it wasn't too bad.  Pretty narrow in parts, so there won't be a lot of passing going on.  Have you done, dragonfly?  If so, those trails are harder in my opinion than the ones at Herb Parsons.
