If you were thinking about signing up, now's the time to get off your keester, meester! Just got this note from the race director:
===== took my eye off the incoming registrations for a few days and the total shot past the 750 mark. I was originally anticipating the need for a lottery on the last 250 spots, but I've chosen to just open them up and let the event fill on a first come, first served basis.
One word to the wise... of the 767 people that are now registered, a bit over 500 of them are new to the event. That means that if you rode last year and intend to ride again this year, this event will fill prior to August 15th. Getting signed up soon would be a good idea.
P.S. We've reserved three group campsites at Governor Dodge State park each capable of supporting up to 30 people (15 tents and one trailer). These spots are free to participants, but I will need to get you on the list. Please let me know if you plan to camp and would like to be added to the list.
I may have signed up during a moment of weakness. It falls at the end of my second to last training week prior to taper. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
Speaking of good ideas, I think it's about time we go tackle the IMWI course again.

You seriously need your head examined. Are you thinking of doing this one too? By the way congrats on doing the Insain Terrain ride.
