Subject: pools in Cbus
Hi all, I've been training for about 3 mos. and just moved to Columbus. Can anyone recommend a good pool that is relatively inexpensive to join? I live in Grandview.

Hi Erin.  Welcome to Columbus!  I go to Aquatice Adventures in Hilliard.  It's at Cemetary rd. and I-270.  They have unlimited monthly pass for $40, 25 visit punch pass for $85 and is good for a year.  No contract.  They also offer swim classes that are geared toward Tri swimming.  The website is www.aquaticadventuresohio.com.

Columbus parks and recs pools are free in the summer and have lane set aside for lap swimmers.
It is 50¢ in the winter.

The YMCAs are pretty reasonable price wise in the Columbus area. In Grandview you are close to the one downtown and at the Hill Top. If you work around the outerbelt there are options all around it (Gahanna, Powell, Hillard, Grove City, Canal Winchester)

Monthly is 45.90 for 25 and older, 28.82 for 16-24 for individual membership. Couple/Family rate is 76.86.

I belong to the Hilliard Y.  We have a masters swim class M/W/F from 5:30am-6:45am.  It's an additionaly $5/week in addition to the prices listed above.
