I really suck in the heat, and I'm worse in the humidity. Just looking for any tips or tricks on how to stay cool, or how you guys deal with HHH weather.

When you wake up and it's dark, and it's still 80 degrees, that's a problem

I would wait for the sun to come out and the temps to climb 10° or so into the 90's then go for a run.

Haha, nice. 80's not that bad but when it's that hot in the early morning, it doesn't bode well for me IF I can't get my workout in the morning. That means destined for 90+. For some reason I always run hot, works great in the winter, not so good in the summer

Actually, this makes some sense. Assuming the dewpoint doesn't change, the 10 deg increase in temp will cause a decrease in relative humidity =>  increase in the rate of sweat evaporation.

As they say " It's not the heat, it's the humidity "

I know the feeling.  That's rainy season here in South Florida.  Hydrate, avoid the sun like a vampire and don't expect a PR.

i hate the heat and humidity  for running workouts too.  I have noticed a few companies sell heat gear...light/white colored long sleeve moisture wicking shirts to help keep you cooler.  Seems weird to think of long sleeves on a 90+ day but I know people in dessert climates swear by them.  Obviouly going slower and hydrating more help too and I think just forcing yourself to do more heat runs will help you (and me) get better at them.
