Is this the appropriate place to post a "looking for a running buddy" message?

Where do you live and what is your pace? You may find several of us that may be able to run with you.

I live at 40th Street and McDowell (just north of the airport) and my pace is a pathetic 11:30. I'm hoping to get it to 10:00 sometime this year.

I'm not in that area very often, but I have some advice.

Run every day. I did the 100 runs in 100 days last year (run had to be
at least 30 minutes and separate runs had to be separated by an hour).

My times dropped from 11ish to sub 10 by the end. The key is
just consistency and low volume to avoid injury.

I'm 11ish again. Don't worry, if being slow were a crime I'd be locked up
for life.

Check with Javamom. She has started a run group for PF Chang's. I know that your pace fits in with hers and her group. I imagine she will post in this thread when she gets to it.

I'm at 40th street and mcdowell too, but last month sustained a lumbar fracture on a bike accident over off of Oak near the base.  I'll be back up and running hopefully in a couple of months and will need to go slow.  email me anytime and i'll put you in my book to connect with..
