Subject: Can I really swim in them?
I just bought a pair of hann u link (won't let me post the whole name for some reason) tri shorts on eBay. The listing said "Antibacterial Quickdry Pad", but I just got them and was surprised how big and fleecy the pad seems. Also, it has two little side pockets.

Does anyone have experience with this brand? Does the pad really dry fast and not feel weird? Do the pockets create drag in the water?

I just wanted to ask for feedback before taking them for a dip! I was determined to swim in my bathing suit and just put bike shorts over it until I tried it, hence the purchase of actual tri shorts!

Thanks in advance!

I almost bought a pair the other day but they had a 8 1/2 inch inseam. They looked nice for the money - you could not beat it

i have those shorts, they work really well. I have trained in them and i have already raced in them and will race in them again next week.  Good brand, good price, good quality, my personal opinion is you cannot go wrong with those shorts.

best of luck!!

I have these shorts as well. I bought them about 3 months ago and have done 2 sprint tri's in them. I also wear them on every bike ride I do which has been 2-3 per week since I've owned them. They are holding up well. I do hand wash them instead of machine wash, so that may (or may not) help them last longer. I also do not wear them in the pool, since I would imagine the chlorine would eventually ruin them like any other nylon/spandex suit.

No (noticeable) drag from the pockets and you don't notice the chamois either during or after the swim.

Can't beat it for the price and they have good customer service.
