Subject: Map for Lake Geneva sprint run?
This will be my first time doing the Lake Geneva tri (sprint) and I was trying to find a map for the Sprint run course. The map on the Lake Geneve Extreme Sports site only appears to show the 10K run course. Anyone have a map for the sprint run course? Thanks.

The website says the run course is the same for the sprint, oly, and half - so i'm assuming that the sprint will be an out-and-back with a turnaround 1.55 miles into the course.  That's just guessing, though.

I ran the course yesterday and I agree with Roy, I think you probably go past Stearns up the HUGE hill and then turn back around for the flight home.  Fortunately you get to experience that hill.  I would hate to have you miss all the fun!

Thanks for the info. I'm actually more worried about going down the hill. At Pewaukee, there's also a decent sized hill to go up/down, and I just leaned forward to let gravity assist me, but I got going so fast that I felt completely out of control and came pretty close to falling on my face.

i've found (for myself at least) that leaning forward isn't always the best idea.  i read this article on downhill running recently, and found it interesting:

In theory letting gravity do its thing is great, but the hill I am talking about is steep.  I lean forward some and bend more at the knees.  I still feel like I am breaking on the way down and I don't see a way around it.  If I let myself go, I would topple over...seriously.  The good news is by the time you finish this beast, there is only one or two smaller hills to contend with and then you are home free.

See you there.
