I don't know how others do it, but add to the beginning of what you want to strike thru, and to the end of what you want to strike through. There may be fancy buttons that I don't have turned on somewhere but that's how I do it. HTH.

I think your advice actually got rendered into html.

try.. < strike > and < / strike> around the text you want to cross out.. only without all the spaces..

looks like madeye used < s> and < /s > which apparently works too.

OH...it doesn't render on the preview but gets stored as actual angle brackets instead of what I typed in (& lt ;) and renders in the post. WHOOPS. Yes, I used < s > and < /s > which is less typing.

In another forum, somebody mentioned the Rich Text Editor in your preferences...if you're not comfortable with HTML, it gives you buttons to click. Don't know any more about it than that, sorry. :)

You can also ( I just found this out) go to options and change "Add rich text something or other" to yes. You can then strikethrough or bold
