Any Pittsburgh area people running this race or have run it in the past?

 

First standalone 10K for me in less than 2 weeks on the Panhandle Trail in Oakdale.

wife and I are running the 5k.   This is my 2nd race.  my wife is the "pro".

I'm thinking it over, I'm not sure if I want to try for a 5K PR or my first 10K.

I was in the same boat but went for the 10K.  I ran a half marathon in Oct and figured since the fitness should be there, I would try the 10K.  I am gonna PR that since it's my first one!

Supposed to be a chilly one...weatherchannel.com forecast for Oakdale on Sunday...

Partly cloudy. Highs in the low 30s and lows in the upper 20s.
