Subject: White Tattoos?
Has anyone out there had any experience with white tattoos? I like the idea, and from what little I can find about them online they are really cool looking. Anyone know of any web sites and/or artists who do this? Google aint giving me much.
I'm thinking about this as a 40th birthday ritual thing.

They are great but the white fades really fast compared to other colors. You need to keep sunblock on it religiously. I have a good friend with a white "bracelet" and it looks awesome. You have to really look to notice it.

I didn't know about the sunblock aspect. With how much time I spend in the sun I don't know... Maybe something that looks like a henna would be better. ? Thanks for the info.

You should put sunblock on all tattoos. The sun can burn you and it can wear the ink out faster. I am not sure how that works but I know I am right about it because the tat I keep sunblock on looks great and the other (the one I don't like) looks faded and not as nice. I really have to decide what to do with the one I hate.

Eh, navel piercings can be a little touchy if you don't get the right shape of jewelry in them. It's a surface piercing and as such they tend to "grow" or migrate out. So if it does migrate (especially if you are a quick healer), you end up with a scar that goes from entry to exit point. Just my 2 psi.
