I just finished "Running with the Buffaloes" A season inside with Mark Wetmore, Adam Goucher, and The University of Colorado Men's Cross Country Team.  It was a great book and when you see these guys running 100+ miles a week it is pretty inspirational.  What are some other books that people have read that would fit in this category for any of the three disciplines?

Going the distance - Tracey Richardson.  She is a New Zealand women who has overcome the odds, and did Hawaii Ironman raising funds for children with Cystic Fybrosis, a bit of a tear jerker as well, but really inspirational.   She has 2 children with CF and she sufferred from depression, and she lost a heap of weight and got sponsored and completed Ironman NZ and also Kona.  She is now one of the main promoter/spokespeople for the Special K Triathlon ( now duathlon series) in NZ which is an entry level tri for women.  Awesome series, I did it last year, and there were 2500 participants in the Christchurch one.  Back to do it this year too!!
