Subject: Motley Crue Tribute

So last week, I was in Nashville walking my stores and I saw that the Nashville Outlaws Tribute to Motley Crue CD was out, but every store I had been in was sold out of it, which led me to believe it was a great CD. So on my last visit, I saw a copy and snagged it for the drive back to Memphis. The songs were great Crue songs like "kickstart my heart", "looks that kill", "Live Wire", 'Dr Feelgood" and "wild side" to name a few, so I was stoked to rock it on the drive home.

 

Holy Buckets it sucked. Save you money and do not buy the CD. These country "guys and gals" butcher these songs!

Nashville Outlaws and Motley Crue do not even belong in the same sentence. What  kind of "tribute" did you think they'd be able to make?

They've had samples on Sirius radio. I'm intrigued enough to download it.

Have you ever heard the "Pickin' On" bluegrass covers of Metallica? They're amazing. It's crazy how well their songs lend themselves to quality bluegrass music.

Someone I know posted the Wild Side cover from this album on FB as a joke. I spent 30 seconds or so checking out the other songs uploaded onto Youtube. All horrible.
