Subject: WTB: Cheap tires (used ok) for trainer
I forgot to ask the shop to save my old tires, so I need a set of cheap tires for my old bike, which I plan to use on my trainer. (700c). I just hate to spend another $50 for a new set, when they will be used so rarely. Anyone got some with enough tread for the trainer that they'd like to get out of the garage? THANKS!

I don't have any, but nashbar.com has plenty of  tires for less than 10 bucks a peice.  Check them out if you don't get any hits here.

Thanks for the reminder about Nashbar! I had checked cheapbiketires.com, but they were all $25 or so. Nashbar had some in their clearance for $4.95!!! So I got a couple and a thing to hold the front wheel level and used a 10% off coupon code I found on the web, grand total was $19 with shipping. Yahoo! That's cheaper than driving back to the shop to pick up my old tires.

I usually just type in {vendor name} and coupon promotion code in the Google box and find coupons most everytime I shop online.
