So, I have returned (sort of) after an 18 month hiatus. I'm considering doing a second tri. Maybe the Tri for the Cure Denver in August 2007. But, just thinking so far....seriously thinking....

I agree, although your event registration doesn't open up until early 07. You RR from 2005 says you will do it again in 2006, so what you didn;t make it. Now make it for 2007. It's a great cause too. I've never done any tris and have signed up for 4 in 2007 including an Oly! I know it's so cliche but, Just do it!

I broke my ankle this past January.. I'm signed up for a first Half Ironman this May 2007.

Go ahead and place your money down, once you have that over with you won't have to think about whether you are doing it or not, because you will have already made the decision. And while you are at it, sign up for a few events to get ready for it, try a 5K or a 10K, and some longer bike rides. Good luck and welcome back.
