Was sitting on my mates couch watching the replays with the BIGGEST grin on my face! Honesty? I didnt... I knew he wanted 8 stage wins... I had a feeling that given the sprinters hadnt been able to do much for a few days that the finish looked ok for a showdown after the climb.... And given everything that had happened, and with the not getting Green... that if it was a showdown Cav would be trying everything to get there....

Jerry did his Ventoux challenge, 140km with 4800mtrs ascent, said it was "horrible" and really hard, and that's for a 67kg Whippet. Our friend Jerry went up Mt Ventoux from all three ascents in one day. Seems there's a select club for those that's done it. Don't think I'll be joining them. |
