Subject: Computer mounting ideas?
Since I installed my new aerobars, and cut them to fit, I don't have room for my aerobottle and computer--well, not in a place that I can see the computer while aero.

Wondering what people have done in this situation? Any "funky" computer mounting ideas?

You can put the cyclometer on the stem.  The only problem may be if the mounting hardware doesn't allow you to orient on either axis, but only on the horizontal.

stem

I have a cateye.  Came with a handle bar mount.  Then I order a stem bracket from the manufacturer's site.

I made a mount for this exact problem out of a 3 inch piece of in-ground sprinkler tube. I cut it so there is a notch on each side that goes around the aerobar and wrapped a zip tie and some electrical tape around it. It has worked very, very well.

My LBS has an adaptor for several different brands of computers to make them mountable to the stem. It has worked great for me and was little more than $10.00

One of these around the stem will take care of any stem-mounting issues:

Edited to add: This one says it fits aerobars and regular handlebars, but I know they make them big enough to fit the stem because I have two of 'em myself. Check your LBS.
