Does anyone know of a good swim watch?  While I am busy focusing on my stroke I lose count of my laps.  I tried to order a Zoggs watch but the retailer said they are having battery problems and are not getting any more of them at this time.

I use a Sport Count  http://sportcount.com/  and has worked well for me.  I would recommend the one with the pause feature on it.

x2 on the sport counter.  I got one for myself, and a few weeks later one for a friend.  I like the ease of use, and if you have the one that keeps track of time as well as number of laps, you can tell if you still goofed off and forgot to tap off a lap (like I did today) when one lap is twice as long as all the others.

x3 on the Sportcount! Works like a charm and with it's one-finger operation, is easier and more convenient to use than a watch.

I have the Timex Ironman with a 100 Lap count and have loved it.

I use a triathlon Timex.  I got it on Amazon for a good price.  I got the OVA with the side view.  It sits on the side of my wrist.  That does make it easy for me to see in the water.  Hitting it for the lap count does annoy me because I do turns.   I mainly use it to do pace times, it kinda works for that... does and doesn't.  Overall I am happy with it.  Make sure you buy one with a higher lap count 75 or higher.  Anything under 75 is worthless in my opinion.  However depends how big the pool is!  lol...

If you want to not go the watch route... this is how I count in my head.  For a 25 m pool I count in 4s.  1a1b1c1d2a2b2d2c and so on... it is easier because I just have to remember the letter.. that tells me how much I have left.  I also work in 500s.  I find if I just count 1 - 20 I lose count around 14.  If I can cancel out 500meters that I just did I just have to remember how many 500s I have left.  Seems complicated.. but it isn't to me.   I know a lady that uses a nose clip that she turns each time she passes it.  Whatever floats your boat I guess.

 Happy Hunting!
