I know it's been mentioned before, but why not find a decent front wheel for considerably less than a wheelset (watch the bulletin boards, eBay, etc), and then get a $95 Wheelbuilder disk cover on the rear?  That's what I'm doing on my project bike.

I have a never used set of Zipp 303's with tires for $925 and a Renn disc shimano tubular for $400. Let me know if either might interest you and I will send some more info.
