going for 60 mile option (and hopefully a little extra) will be riding my tribike so I expect a fair amount of grief. anyone else doing this ride?

I've done this ride in the past.  It's very well organized and a fst flat ride.  Take your time going over the bridge at the beginning, the views are incredible!  There's a very well stocked rest area roughly every 20 miles.  It's a really fun ride!  I'd love to do it, but I just don't think it's in the cards for me this year.

I might do it this year! I did it a few years ago - lots of fun! I rode my tri bike the last time I did it and didn't catch any grief at all. I don't imagine it will be an issue.

getting closer and I'm still looking at the 90 mile option. anyone else? also anyone going to have family waiting at the park near the finish?

Just watch yourself on the bridge. There are a ton of inexperienced riders that can (and often do) wreck out during the first few miles. People pass others and don't warn them and then get hit, etc. After that it thins out and is nice. We usually do the century but due to lack of training this year may opt for the 60 mile ride.

I doubt you'll get grief for riding a tri bike, unless you try and hop on someone's wheel.
