Subject: RE: Recovery??I've only done 3 sprints so far, so take this for what it is worth. But I've noticed that I don't feel like I need a recovery after the sprints, and I mostly swim and bike the first few days, then running by midweek. However, after each of my sprints so far, I have found that 7 to 10 days after the race, I feel incredible fatigued, and for two or three days I think to myself "I never want to train again." Each time that's happened, I've taken a couple of days off, slept, and then around day 11 I'm ready to go again. Don't know if I would experience that if I forced myself to take a couple of days of recovery right after the race or not. |
