Subject: Zoning out during workoutsI've noticed that I've recently started zoning out (in a major way ) during my workouts, especially on the run. It almost feels like my mind separates from my body, in a way. A few weeks ago, I was on a 6 mile run and had to look at the clock to make sure I was finished. Afterwards, I felt like I hadn't even run! This past weekend, I ran my longest training run ever and barely remember it! This has never happened to me in the past, even during long ruck marches while in the Army...it's just started happening in the past few weeks... Is this the body's way of handling grueling/taxing conditions? Is training just getting longer and easier? Maybe I'm not mixing it up enough? Anyways, would like to know what you ppl think, or if you experience these Zone Outs... |
