Subject: Abbotsford area tri
I recently met a couple who told me that Abbotsford area hosts a tri, but I can't find any current info. There is one race report on BT, but the link provided does not seem to work.
Does anyone have any info?

Is there a list, other than tribc, of local area events? I know that Langley hosts an event that is not listed on the tribc website (not the Walnut Grove one)

There was a tri in abotsford, but the guy who was running it had a baby and did not have time to continue with it. Hopefully he comes back to the sport. It would be nice to have one in Abby.

Langley City has a tri on Sunday June 28 at City Park & Al Anderson pool. The link is http://www.city.langley.bc.ca/tri.htm
It's a 400m swim, 21K bike, 5K run and is well organized.

I was unable to enter the Langley tri, but I did manage to get down there to see it. It was my first time at a tri and there was lots of excitement! I cheered and took quite a few pics, so if anyone was in the race, let me know.
