Chicago Tri Volunteer's to Help Disabled Athletes

Hey Everybody,
If you aren't racing Chicago Triathlon (8/29/2010) this year, I'm looking for handlers for athletes with disabilities racing in the Paratri division. This will include several wounded veteran's as well as the disabled.  The handlers will assist these athletes with various disabilities including paraplegics and amputees. The handlers will assist the athletes getting to the swim start, will bring their wheelchair/prosthetic to the water exit (maybe help lift the athlete out of the water), help with wet suit striping, getting on bike, strapping on running legs,  getting into race chairs, etc... 

This is really fun as you get to meet the athlete and be in transition. Each athlete will have unique needs and once you are assigned to a particular athlete we can give you more specifics.
