What is that "Articles" icon?

Veteran  291   Seattle, WA |  Subject: What is that "Articles" icon?Every time I click on the "articles" link I think "what IS that icon?" It looks like a square-ish blue insect to me (legs coming out the left side). I design user interfaces for a living so I tend to fixate on stuff like this. It doesn't quite look like a printer to me...the only other thing I could think of beside a blue insect. (And I don't mean to make fun...I love this site...I'm just curious.) Champion 13323  | Subject: RE: What is that "Articles" icon? oh my god...i was beginning to wonder if ever anybody would realize that that icon...has nothing to do with articles...in fact...i still have no idea what its supposed to be... hehe i was stumped when it came to an 'articles' button...i had no icon to replace it...and i'm not good with creating graphics from scratch...maybe i will work on it somemore. |

Oh yeah, the spider box does look weird Yes, I do work on software (web-based services as well). I'm focused more on how the interaction works for the user and then work with graphic designers to create the "look." And, Ron, I wouldn't worry about the icon either... I am sure very few people give it a second thought. I've been spending more time in articles recently and I was just curious.  |
