Not registered yet.. but will likely end up coming up for the weekend and doing the Oly

My coach does an Oliver Training Camp up there the same weekend... coincidence?? I think not

Hotel booked and all registered. Doing the Oly which will be my first tri.
Really hoping the lakes around here in the lower mainland warm up sooner than later. Would really like to get in some OWS before the tri as I've only done pool swims. And if not my first OWS may have to be the Friday we get into Oliver.

Yeah, I'm gonna swim on Saturday afternoon....  First time in the lake this year.  I think it's gonna be c-c-c-cold this year....  I think I'll wear my silicone swim cap under the race cap.

I am not doing this race but I swam at the lake on Monday. It was cold but not face numbing. I had a thermal swim hood with a regular swim cap . Doubling up on the swim caps would help if ypo don't have a thermal hood. I was in the water for over half an hour and came out with all my fingers and toes. Good luck everyone.

I didn't find the lake that cold today.. all in all the weather was great for racing!

I think the Oly & I have a rematch set for next year..
