Subject: RE: IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING AN AWFUL AND UNPRODUCTIVE WINTER OUT THERE?It's true, calenderizing it does help a lot. I tend to set high or unachievable goals with it, and write "swim 1800yd, then run 7 miler" a lot, (But I know I'm only training for a Sprint) and naturally refuse to decrease goal size... which leads to getting down on myself! But I agree, when I am actually healthy, the calendar and daily list that includes the workouts are vital for people like me There is nothing better than looking in the training log for me and seeing the 3 1500 yard swims, 30 miles of run time, and even an hour of the bike. But that has not been happening lately. I can't wait for the SPRING!!!! (And health!!! And energy!) |
