Subject: South of River Tri Clubs/Coaches?
Hi all, today I completed my first sprint distance and tomorrow I start training for the Coogee Tri in April. I am a total novice and discovered today that my running training was insufficient, so I am keen to get some assistance but I cannot find any coaches or clubs near me?

I'm in Thornlie and have an 18 month old son at home so my training times are limited to very early before my partner goes to work, later in the evening after he gets home, or confined to a gym with a creche during the day.

I have heard there might be someone in Riverton but I can't find any details? Any ideas?

Hi Sun Bear,
I live SOfR as well and have not found much. Have a look on the triwa web site but don't think there is any on it. I also have heard about a club running from riverton but have not confirmed it. Try ring the swimming centre up and they will tell you. There is a swim club at Armadale but I think they only swim and don't ride or run.
Hope you enjoyed the race on Saturday. I did it as well but only the fun event. Can't swim 400m let alone 750.

Cheers Mathews, I rang Riverton they have a Masters club or a swimming squad run by the leisureplex but nothing out of the water.

I wanted to kick one off for the Cockburn Success area because for some us Rockingham and Freo are too far to travel. If I get more interest I would be a definite to set it up.
