Subject: What are your top 10 Dailys ?
Do you have 10 things each day you must do for success in ironman?

Like write food diary ? Take fish oil ? Meditate ? Visualize ?

Would be curious if people have daily rituals ?

I don't have any kind of rituals for sure, but there are things I do every day.  

  1. Train is most important
  2. log time on BT
  3. naked protein zone mango drink post workout with 2 bananas.
  4. take a multi-vitamin
  5. take vitamin C
  6. take fish oil

Those are the only things I'd say I do every day.

I don't know if there are 10, but these are daily parts of IM training for me.

Wake up knowing I can do it
Train with a purpose
Fuel properly
Have some virtual training partners (here on BT) going through the same thing
I would say get enough rest, but...that's only partially true.

4). Nutrition.

Repeat.

9). Everything else.
10). Live.

Leave in conditioner for my beautiful color treated blonde hair after chlorinated swims. Seriously though:

1. Multivitamin
2. Avocado, protein shake, and Can of Ensure for during my rides
3. Restful sleep
4. Banana or 2, helps me with leg
cramps
5. A review of my plan and proper
logging and adjusting as needed
6. 10 minute self foot massage
7. Quality time with my animals (no family or significant other)
8. Episode of The Golden Girls to do some crunches and pushups, etc too. Won't do them otherwise.
9. Especially with flying all the time, I keep my ears water free, especially murky lake water to ward off ear infections. I clean them every other day with drops, this ball thingamajig, and a rinsing pan. Algae and silt are EVERYWHERE!
10. Weekly body fat measurements. The scale lies more than most politicians.

I am sure there are more, but that's all I can think of now.

1.  Resting heart rate first thing in morning

2.  1000mg Vit C, fish oil, and glucosamine

3.  discuss with family the weekly/ daily training schedule and work around their schedule

4.  log workouts and check in with BT mentor group

That's all for me.  I do all of these daily.  The only one I added for IM training was BT mentor group.
