Well, I can tell you that Skynet is up and running here in Tucson.  (I chuckle every time they say it on the news .. either someone had no clue OR someone had a great sense of humor)

I am reading a book about this exact thing.   The computer can do facial recognition, calculate odds of a correct match and if it is with in a certain perameter it will unleash.  But, don't worry 'cause the female President didnt know anything about the project and I am sure heads will roll once it is determined who authorized it.

At least the supply list for each apocalypse is similar.  The logistics would stink if we needed a "Zombie go bag" and a "Robot go bag" to stock up and store.
