Problems uploading data from Garmin

Hi all. Having a similar problem.

I'm using the 'Import from Garmin' button in the training log and while it appears to connect, the bar moves across and then shows 'transfer complete' but then it just stays that way. It doesn't seem to lock onto any of my workouts.

I tried using the 'upload' method but since I'm in Australia, the dates of workouts get screwed up. Uploaded data from the 10th Jan and it put it in Wed 9th at 4am or something. Sorry, but not doing it that way. No point uploading data only to have to move it around to match Australian times/dates. Too much to ask.

I've checked my Garmin communicator and it is the most up-to-date version. Oh, and if I try to upload data in Firefox, it tells me the plugin is locked. I even re-installed my ANT+ and Communicator software. Starting to really drive me batty.

Any hints on how to fix this?

Can you try deleting older workouts on your device?  A lot of times, if there is a lot of 'history', it can gum-up the uploading.

I actually clear my Garmin history weekly - so I think that can be ruled out. Thanks for the suggestion.

It's still doing it. I'm at a loss and really don't want to add today's race data manually.

Can you confirm in 'Settings' --> 'Forum Settings' that your local time is set correctly?

I hadn't realised those settings were not 'my time'. So I changed it and it has made the upload function a lot easier. I also notice it uploaded the lap data.

So maybe that's the way I do it from now on.
