While I never thought his charisma was strong enough for a VP race, and I did like the idea of a Jew in the whitehouse, it may have helped and hurt him, probably hurt him more than helped. Now he's a fairly conservative Democrat - independent now, but he has a lost of the same values that I do, and some that I don't agree with, but as an independent he can get a lot of moderate republicans and a lot of conservative dem's. But, hey I'm in MA so I can't vote anyway. |
