Subject: RE: Personal Lube - Novice Distance Tri For something that short, I might use chamois cream. You will only be in the water for about 10 minutes so it shouldn't wash off. However, if you need lube for a 10k bike and a 2.5k run, I would suggest that the problem is your shorts or saddle. My skin chafes pretty easily (what can I say, I am delicate ), but even I don't need anything for that distance. Take care of these comfort issues early, or training and racing won't be any fun.
For longer distances, Skin Sake lasts about 10 hours (total race time--I can't swim for 10 hours ) even with a salt water swim, and in shorter races typically doesn't come off until I shower with soap. Edited by happyscientist 2016-11-04 7:28 AM
