Subject: Streaming music player for running without your phone
I'm training for the Chicago Marathon and I just realized how much I hate running with my phone.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a watch or device that streams music so I can leave my phone behind?

I believe the latest Apple watches can.  Probably others too.  They aren't cheap.

I would encourage you to consider trying running without music.  I realize that suggestion sounds like suggesting elective dental surgery to some people.  I used to run with music nearly all the time.  I never do now, and I like running a lot more.

Garmin Forerunner 645 Music allows you to download music to the watch. I do know the streaming services it links to is limited (no Spotify). But an option none the less.

I also second the recommendation of the Mighty. Mine can be a little quirky after some time away from the road but overall I think it's great.
