Newbie from East Texas

I have already posted one thread on the TX board, but haven't formally introduced myself. I am a wife and mom of three, 7, 5, and 7months...and have completed 2 triathlons. I was not going to do one until next year, but my city decided to host one this past November, so I took that as my "sign" to do it. A couple weeks before my event, I found out there was a triathlon club in my area, and began emailing the president, who was very kind and helpful to me. My first event was fun...and I decided I did not want to stop. I did join the club, and have found the support to be wonderful. I just completed my 2nd event this past Sunday. I was highly disappointed in my performance, but it was a great learning experience for me. I have also found this site and these boards extremely helpful. I look forward to many, many more triathlons to come!
