Champion 10157 Alabama | Subject: President for life The libs in the media have jumped the shark. Trump joked about being president for life and the media’s collective head exploded. They said he has a tendency to praise tyrants like Xi, Jung Il and Putin. Evidently the US should only insult foreign leaders. After all, America government is the best and we need to look down our nose at any government other than democracy. |

Lead by example by not poking a finger in the eye of other world leaders every chance you get. Kinda hard to talk with Xi or Putin if you constantly bash them and trash their country every chance you get. The idea that we are gonna cram democracy down everone’s throat has failed....as we learned in Iraq. |

I don't believe he's ever tried to promote democracy for the rest of the world. He seems to be focused on restoring democracy at home. At least that is the illusion he created to fuel his candidacy. I don't think we can blame Reagan for US policy of forcing democracy upon the world. We've been doing that forever. The people we're pushing it on has just changed over the years. She got upset at me several years ago when she found out that not everyone in my company makes the same salary. She couldn't comprehend it and insisted that I pay everyone the same salary. That was the last time I mentioned employee salaries to her. hah |

Banning all conservative speakers from campus, banning conservatives from facebook, or shaming and mocking anyone who dares say anything in support of Trump literally has absolutely nothing to do with the 1A. And there's nothing in the Constitution does it prohibit non-citizens from voting. There's a federal law that does for federal elections, but nothing stating that some random city in Maryland can't allow illegals from voting in local elections. It's up to each state to decide who they want voting in their elections. States rights for the win! ETA: "Voting by Aliens" federal law "(a) It shall be unlawful for any alien to vote in any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, unless...(2) aliens are authorized to vote for such other purpose under a State constitution or statute or a local ordinance" Edited by Bob Loblaw 2018-03-06 5:02 PM |
