Subject: RE: IM TaperFor IMLP I did three week bike/run taper and 1 week swim taper as I needed more longer swims. First week was like a rest week with a 25 mile bike/5 mile run brick as longest s/b; and a full IM distance swim
Second week was adjusted downward as I was still pretty tired..long run 8 miles originally 12, long brick was 40 miles/5 mile run cut down to 3. I did another IM distance ows this week.
Last week I did 6 mile run Monday and a 30 mile ride next day. Each run I felt better...didn't feel really normal running until race week. |
