Subject: RE: When to strength train during trainingYou can do it on light workout days (short runs )
Do a good warm up with some jog and tecnique drills
Then strenght training focusing on plyometric exercises: squat and jump, burpees, deadlift+curl+press and lunges
Finish with a short run. You can do this 1-3x a week depending on the phase you are.
Sometimes my trainer also puts my team doing the strenght exercises on interval training days. |
