When you get into allentown - give a call.  There is a local club in bethlehem and lots of local stuff to potentially look into.  There is a fair amount of events in and around the area.  What distances do you enjoy - I have done some sprints.  Welcome to the area.

I'll be sure to give a call - I'm running (or slogging along depending on your perspective) the NYC 1/2 marathon (my first!) on the 16th and then heading up to New Hampshire to do the Timberman Sprint on the 22nd.  I'll be in touch when I get back.  Thank you so much!  I look forward to talking to you.

I am doing Timberman 70.3 with 2 of my other tri friends. Perhaps we can all get together.

I don't live in Allentown anymore, but there is a fairly active running club there called Lehigh Valley Road Runners.  They have a clubhouse in the Lehigh Parkway, and many members informally gather there for runs.  www.lvrr.org

My grandparents were very active in the group for a long time, and I used to run from the clubhouse with members during the off-seasons in high school.  They sponsor a bunch of local races too.

A get together would be great.  I rent a house with about 12 other triathletes and we stay for the week after the triathlon.  What's your race number?  I'll be sure to cheer!  We also tend to have a BBQ either Sunday or Monday after the tri that you and your friends would be more than welcome to join in on.
