Subject: RE: How much time off after HIM?^^^^^ x2. I went into my HIM slightly overtrained, and had to dig deep to finish. I took a week completely off (apart from some hiking on level ground ) and then was back at it without much trouble, although I started back easy. There are HIM to IM bridge plans, but your IM is so far away that I don't think that's what you need. It sounds like you need a standard IM plan, preceded by enough training to prepare yourself to handle the IM training load. Exactly how that trainig is structured, I don't know. |
