Well I got the truck back..Went and picked up the pig cooker...Almost done sanding it down (had some rust) and hope to do the first whole hog on it in a couple weeks....Should be all set up for a good ole fashioned pig picken for the BT party in the spring. Anyone local in VA if you need party food let me know. Can do whole hog, shredded pork, chicken, Best ribs in the area, basically anything you want. We make our own BBQ sauces no store bought crap...WE have been approached about botteling it but dont think I want to go that route. It is a huge investment and risk...Have trailer will travel..Gonna try to do family friends parties for the remainder of this year (got 3 lined up so far) and hopefully within 5years turn it into a full time gig. Right now can do parties up to about 150-200 people...By next year at this time if things go good I will be able to handle triple that.

bball, wish i had known about this a month or 2 ago.  i work in residential property mgmt, (large apartment communities) and each place usually has a big bbq pool party every summer.  that would be a great alternative to the standard burgers and dogs. will keep you in mind for future.

btw, BT bash is in the spring now?  i think i missed the end of that thread.

The interest for the fall was small, plus with other things going on it wouldnt have worked out. Hopefully in the spring.

Wanna haul it down to Tampa next February for our marathon festivities? We're having a BBQ on the beach.

Yeah, February will be cold here too. Should be in the 60s/70s. Terrible weather.

Pork is supposedly the meat that tastes closest to human flesh. Makes you wonder why we find it so tasty, doesn't it?
