Subject: Got sick... 2 weeks until my first HIM, need help getting back on trackHi all,
TL;DR version: I got sick 11 days ago. Knocked me out, on a Z-pak, getting back on track tomorrow. Taper starts this Thursday, race is on November 5th. Need advice on what workouts to do and how to get ready for the race.
Long version: I got sick, missed 7 days of workouts including: a 50mile ride (the longest in the plan ), an 8 mile run (the longest in the plan ), a few interval runs/rides, and a large brick this past weekend.
Can anyone advise how to get back on track? Shorten the taper and train hard this last week? |
